Mark Gonzales (Band Manager)                      Sarah Kahn (Public Relations, Marketing)

As a huge fan of the Austin, Texas live music scene since 1990, Mark has been heavily involved in the business side of music in Austin, Texas since 2005.  He brings a wealth of managerial, coordination, and leadership experience from his current work in the music business and his previous work prior to 2005.

Sarah brings a wealth of experience in public relations and marketing. Beginning as a tour manager assistant in 2001, Sarah worked on various high profile tours that included the bands Linkin Park, Green Day, Blink 182, Audioslave, and the Foo Fighters.

Beginning with the band The Mother Truckers in 2005, Mark and Sarah have been involved in road management, merchandise management, street team management, tour development, press and publicity, and band management. They started an Artist Development firm in 2007 (M&S Artist Development, which is now M&S Music Management) that currently manages The Mother Truckers and has partnered with Joel Guzman and has managed other prominent Austin artists.  The firm provides band and music management services and also coordinates and produces live music events around the Austin area.

After years of listening and loving live music, we are now lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with artists we love and people in the music business we admire and respect. Here are some thoughts from a few of them about our work:

"In the music business, most people are all talk and no action.

M & S make things happen and get the job done! What a breath of fresh air! "

-Josh Zee, The Mother Truckers

"Musicians spend years developing great ideas and skills but struggle to make time to pursue new opportunities. Artist development firms look for devoted musicians that need help connecting with new and supportive audiences. Mark and Sarah are great in this respect. They are true music warriors; selfishly supporting our ideas by investing their own creative time and energy. We are truly excited to be working with them."

-Grammy winners Joel Guzman and Sarah Fox

"M & S leave no stone unturned when exploring goal-reaching avenues! Mark and Sarah always bring a fresh, and enthusiastic approach to all that they do, whether it's merchandising, networking or internet solutions. I have found their participation in our career to have imeasurable value, and would like to say "Thanks!", and that I wholeheartedly reccomend putting them to work for you!"

-Teal Collins, The Mother Truckers

“Mark and Sarah bring passion and enthusiasm to every project they’re involved with! Professional, well organized and in it for the right reasons...they put the “art” back into artist development.”

-Shilah Morrow, President/founder Sin City Social Club Board Member Americana Music Association

“Mark and Sarah Gonzales are driven by their passion for the music business and the desire to “get it right” .  I’m very proud to have them as not only business associates, but as friends too. They’ve been an immense help to me.”

"Mark and Sarah are the artist's heroes, really. They are the driving force behind my promotions, marketing, and business concepts.  Everybody wants their own Mark and Sarah!"

-
Jane Bond of  The Jane Bond Band

"With out people like Mark and Sarah my photos would languish in the nether world,
unseen by the very people who I need to see them. Their enthusiasum is infectious and their energy seems to be boundless. Its not about, can we get this done? Its, about
how fast it gets done."
